From Writer to Writer

Writers' Week Tips
Welcome back to Day 4 of Writers’ Week! Here’s what’s going on today:

  • Enter the Writing Contest, which remains open until 11:59 p.m. on Friday.
  • Every hour from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. today a new post in the “From Writer to Writer” series will be published. Learn from and be inspired by your fellow writers!
  • Follow the #WritersWeek chatter on Twitter.
  • Tweet the following verbatim for a chance to win a cocktail shaker from Dr. Freelance: “I’m entering to win a @DrFreelance cocktail shaker during #WritersWeek via @EmilySuess http://ow.ly/6nfdo” (Random drawing at 10 p.m. Eastern tonight, 9/15. Shipping to US & Canada Only.)

A Brief Word About Today’s Schedule

First, a word of warning: You’re going to see a lot of posts going up on the blog today. Eleven different writers are generously offering their tips, advice, and encouragement on Suess’s Pieces. So, every hour from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern a new post will go live.

I was hoping to see John Green on this list, but still one heck of a full day of great authors and topics.

I put out an open call, but didn’t specifically ask him to contribute because he seems pretty swamped with all that book signing to do. And I know he gets a LOT of requests for stuff like this.

Feel free to beg him on my behalf though. I’d gladly open up the blog to him. ;)
